By using FilenameFixer (web app or Chrome extension), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

FilenameFixer is a free tool that converts filenames between Unicode NFD and NFC forms. The service is provided as-is, free of charge, with no guarantees of availability or accuracy.

You are responsible for your own files and data. Always keep backups of important files before performing batch operations. FilenameFixer only modifies filenames — file contents are never changed.

FilenameFixer is provided without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of this tool, including but not limited to data loss, incorrect filename conversions, or compatibility issues.

FilenameFixer, including its name, logo and source code, is owned by the FilenameFixer developer. You may use the service free of charge; this does not transfer any rights in the software to you.

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
